Johnny Dronehunter highly sensitive to UAVs…

In America who loves above all freedom, small personal drones that multiply at great speed could possibly be associated with flying robots that could affect privacy. The company SilencerCo that makes silencers for different types of weapons, created the character of Johnny Dronehunter to promote his new silent Salvo 12. And as you will notice in this video, Johnny really does not like drones.

Released July 29th, 2014, this video has already been viewed over 550,000 times: this is called a viral videoSilencerCo company intends to produce  several other short videos of Johnny Dronehunter who seek to rid America of all these drones looking (according to him) to spy on honest people who live on their land.

Although military drones have sometimes bad press in the world, personal drones have so far managed to create a very different positive appeal. Several commercial projects similar to the project of Amazon company could soon start to do deliveries to the delight of their potential customers. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) preview that in 2020, more than 10,000 commercial drones could travel in the American skies.

It will be interesting to see the impact of these Johnny Dronehunter videos on people’s perception regarding personnal and commercial drones in the United States and around the world.
